Data controller
Regen Lab SA, En Budron B2, 1052 Le Mont-sur-Lausanne, Switzerland, is responsible for processing the data collected in this questionnaire.
Purpose of processing
The data collected is intended to analyze current surgical practices in order to support the design of a future cartilage implant, in line with medical device development requirements.
Type of data collected
Only non-sensitive professional information is collected, such as :
– Medical specialty,
– Years of experience,
– Country of practice.
No health data or personally identifiable information (surname, first name, contact details) will be collected.
Legal basis for processing
Processing is based on Regen Lab SA’s legitimate interest in developing medical devices that meet the needs of professional users (Article 6, paragraph 1, point f of the RGPD).
Voluntary nature
Participation in this questionnaire is entirely voluntary. The participant may refuse or discontinue participation at any time without justification.
Confidentiality and anonymity
Responses will be analyzed in aggregate. No individual results will be published. Data will be stored securely and access will be restricted to Regen Lab SA’s clinical and development teams.
Data retention period
Data will be kept for a maximum of five (5) years from the end of the study, after which it will be deleted.
Recipients of data
Data will not be transmitted to any third party, apart from the technical service providers ensuring the secure hosting of the questionnaire, under RGPD-compliant subcontracting agreements.
Data transfer outside the EEA
When Google Forms is used, data is stored on servers located in the European Union, insofar as the European data residency option is activated. Otherwise, a transfer to the United States may be carried out in accordance with the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
Participants' rights
In accordance with the applicable regulations (RGPD and Swiss LPD), participants have the following rights in particular:
– Right of access to their data,
– Right of rectification,
– Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”),
– Right to restrict processing,
– Right to object to processing.
