Advancing Men’s Health in Georgia: Education, Collaboration and Clinical Structure in Tbilisi

RegenLab, in collaboration with regional partners including Regen Lab Turkey and R-Medical LTD (Tbilisi), proudly supported the Georgian Association of Men’s Health Congress, held on June 6–7, 2026, at the Sheraton Grand Tbilisi Metechi Palace.

Bringing together national and international experts, the congress focused on “Gender Perspectives in Health & Ageing in the Changing World”, addressing key challenges in urology, andrology, oncology, and sexual medicine.

A structured scientific programme

Over two days, the programme covered a broad range of clinical topics including:
  • prostate cancer screening and management
  • erectile dysfunction (ED) and LUTS (Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms)
  • urologic oncology and ageing-related conditions
  • sexual health and neurological dimensions of disease
  • clinical case discussions and multidisciplinary perspectives
The congress also featured contributions from leading European experts, including Professor Hein Van Poppel (European Association of Urology) and Sam Ward, who delivered lectures under the framework of:
  • the European Society for Sexual Medicine (ESSM)

Education, human rights and clinical practice

As highlighted by Sam Ward, contemporary sexual medicine must go beyond technical treatment approaches and integrate essential clinical principles such as:
  • dignity
  • confidentiality
  • informed consent
  • evidence-based care
  • accessibility and reduction of stigma
These dimensions reinforce that human rights in medicine translate directly into quality of care, shaping the way clinicians engage with patients and approach treatment decisions.

BioBridge perspective: building structured pathways

This initiative reflects a broader movement aligned with the BioBridge educational framework, where:
  • physician-led education drives adoption
  • international collaboration strengthens local expertise
  • structured protocols replace fragmented approaches
In particular, the congress contributes to advancing a more consistent clinical approach to conditions such as erectile dysfunction and Peyronie’s disease—areas where structured methodologies remain under development in many regions.

RegenLab’s role: technology sponsorship and education

RegenLab’s contribution to the Tbilisi congress was positioned as technology sponsorship, supporting:
  • dissemination of standardised regenerative medicine workflows
  • education on reproducible preparation techniques
  • alignment with governance, documentation and clinical discipline
This reflects the company’s commitment to supporting scientific exchange, ensuring that innovation is translated responsibly into clinical practice.

A foundation for long-term collaboration

Beyond the scientific programme, the congress marked the strengthening of relationships between:
  • Georgian clinical leaders
  • European academic institutions
  • international educational networks
As highlighted during the congress, this initiative is not an isolated event but the beginning of a longer-term collaboration, aimed at:
  • reinforcing training pathways
  • supporting clinical innovation
  • improving patient outcomes in men’s health
RegenLab remains committed to supporting such initiatives worldwide, alongside its partners, contributing to the development of structured, evidence-based and patient-centred regenerative medicine.
