What is RegenPRP®?

RegenPRP: the platelet concentrate prepared with this RegenLab technology provides
an autologous reservoir of growth factors.

Platelets

Platelets

Platelets are key factors in tissue repair mechanisms1 . They provide essential growth factors, such as FGF, PDGF, TGF-β, EGF, VEGF, IGF, which are involved in stem cell migration, differentiation and proliferation. Platelets also stimulate fibroblasts and endothelial cells to induce the deposition of new extracellular matrix and neovascularization, respectively. The platelets are concentrated from the patient’s own blood.

Plasma

Plasma

Contains many factors essential for cell survival including nutrients, vitamins, hormones, electrolytes, growth factors (such as IGF and HGF), and proteins. Among the plasma proteins, the molecules vital for the coagulation process and for formation of the fibrin polymer will serve as a scaffold for cell migration and new tissue generation.

RegenPRP standardized performance

RegenLab® devices use a separating gel technology that separates the plasma and
platelets from the blood cells to produce RegenPRP with a standardized composition:

Blood sample vol per tube

The volume of blood that is drawn using the A-CP-HA tube is 6 ml, allowing the preparation of a final combination of 60% PRP – 40% HA in a volume of around 5 ml.

Our Technologies

The Regen Lab technology is based on the use of a thixotropic gel to separate the blood components. This process is protected by many patents (US8529957, EP2073862, US2014010857). Thixotropy is a physical property of some gels. The gel acts as a mechanical separator of the blood components.
